Wordpress and working from my iPhone

I downloaded the Wordpress app for my iPhone this morning while my laptop is in the shop (aka I broke it and IT is fixing it).

I’m surprised at how easy it was to setup my blog through this app. URL, username, and a password were all that were necessary to get moving. I like the option of being able to blog on the fly…but still don’t think that I’ll spend as much time using Wordpress as I do on Twitter…we’ll see.

On another note, with a better keyboard I feel like I could ditch my laptop and just work from my phone. I’ve taken week trips and never pulled my laptop out of it’s bag recently. The progression of smartphones has been amazing since the days of my Palm Treo from 6 years ago.

Useful apps like the Wordpress one I’m typing on are truly gamechangers.
